Plain English, no small print. Here’s what we collect when you use this website or get in touch, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
This website is run by Moreira Limited (“Moreira”, “we”, “us”), a design studio registered in Kenya under company number PVT-OD1693LD. For anything about your personal data, email us at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you fill in our contact form: your name, email address, the services you’re interested in, your budget and timeline, and anything you write in your message.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to include.
- When you visit the site: anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics (such as page views and the type of device), which can’t be used to identify you.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about your project.
- To deliver and support work you’ve asked us to do.
- To understand, in general terms, how the website is used so we can improve it.
We never sell your data, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked us to.
Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted services to run this website. They only handle your data to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and provides anonymous visit statistics.
- Proton Mail: hosts our email, so messages you send us are stored encrypted.
- Google Fonts: serves the fonts on this site, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.
Messages sent through our contact form go straight from our website host to our inbox. They aren’t stored by any other service.
Some of these services may process data outside Kenya. Where that happens, we rely on their own data protection safeguards.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our visit statistics are cookie-free.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and project emails for as long as we need them to work with you, and for up to 3 years afterwards for our records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act 2019 (and, if you live in the UK or EU, the GDPR), you can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your data
- stop using it for a particular purpose
Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
